Can you help?
This is a slightly different take on my usual monthly update, so I hope you’ll forgive me for going on a different tangent. If you’ve come here looking for a few words about Nature Connection to trigger your own inspiration, there are lots of posts on my blog. Normal service will resume in November.
You might already know that I make different types of invitations to help people connect with nature. I do this because I really get a kick out of inventing ways of helping people take a bit of time to look after themselves and feel more connected to nature. That’s what gets me fired up. Unfortunately, marketing, sales, promotion does not get me fired up. Honestly, consumerist culture makes me queasy. Hopefully if you’re reading this you’re a supporter and you won’t mind me asking for a little bit of help.
I have boxes of Other Ways to Walk cards, journals and prints gathering dust in my house. It would just feel good to get things out of boxes and into the hands of people who love them. But I’m an artist not an entrepreneur. This is where you come in. Do you know any friendly shop owners, teachers or practitioners who might be interested in my wholesale rates? Could you buy a pack of cards for the work Secret Santa or to donate to a raffle? Do you want a free sample to show to friends, colleagues, independent shops? I’m up for any kind of partnerships, deals and offers. Drop me a line.
ps. You know this already, but October is usually pretty magical in the woods - keep an eye out for a sunny day and get yourself out there to breathe in that golden light through the leaves.
PPS. And thanks if you read this far. I promise there won’t be any blatant sales pitches for a while. I think they might actually make me feel worse than they make you feel.
