Rachel works with museums, galleries, parks and gardens to support them to develop their wellbeing offers in their outdoor spaces. There is a growing awareness that connecting with nature has measurable  benefits for health and wellbeing and Rachel is able to work with staff, visitors and volunteers to develop resources and strategies to move from 'contact' with nature to 'connection' with nature.

'We need to start a conversation between people and the landscape they live in. It's hard to provoke behaviour changes purely by giving information. Rachel showed us fun interesting ways to get people to take time to reconnect.'

Rob Dalby, Greenspace Operational Manager, Kirklees Council.

Her work is informed by current research through partnerships and collaborations with universities including University of Sheffield and University of Derby and underpinned by many years experience as a practitioner.

Clients include National Trust, Compton Verney, Barnsley Museums, Cannock Chase Museum.
